Favorite Five Thirst Quenchers

...of the non-alcoholic variety.

Plain old water -- it's healthy, readily available, and all but free.

Lemonade -- great on a hot summer day.

Iced tea -- decaf, a little lemony, and not too sweet.

Chocolate milk -- really, do we ever outgrow our love for rich, creamy chocolate milk?!

Fruit smoothies -- yum!

Favorite Five Fast Food Treats

I LOVE fast food. If the stuff wasn't poison and sure to shorten my life, I'd live on junk food. Five of my particular weaknesses are:

The Big Mac. It may be a ticking time bomb for the cardiovascular, but damn, it's SO good!

Wendy's double-cheeseburgers are yummy. Add a Frosty and I'm a happy girl.

I like the chicken and biscuits at Popeyes.

But the potato wedges at KFC can't be beat.

And finally, my favorite bad-for-you and seriously overpriced treat? Starbucks. Mmmmmm!

Favorite Five Hot Male Celebrities

Okay, these guys have been chosen simply for their sizzle factor -- and has nothing whatsoever to do with their talent.

George Clooney -- no explanation needed.

Sean Connery -- proof that age doesn't have to diminish sizzle.

Matt Leinart -- by all reports, he's kind of a jackass. But a hot jackass.

Brad Pitt -- it may be cliché, but he really does look good.

Clark Gable -- yeah, he's been dead for decades. He still makes the list.

Favorite Five Wishes

A while back, bloggers on another site posted their dearest wishes. The five that came up on lists most often included:

Lots of people are worried about their financial situation --

Many expressed a desire to find that "forever" someone --

A number of people hoped to be parents --

Some wanted to get in shape --

And almost all prayed for peace --

If you had five wishes, what would they be?

Staking My Claim

If I were to list my five favorite ways to promote a blog, technorati would be on the list. But you gotta claim your blog and so here I am...

Favorite Five Movies about Families

Favorite Fives -- I have lots. This time around, it's my five favorite movies about families -- at least today... they tend to change a lot, depending on my mood!

  1. Father of the Bride -- the remake with Steve Martin.

  2. Father of the Bride 2 -- few sequels are good, but this one is.

  3. Parenthood -- I haven't seen this one in a while. I think it's time to rent it again.

  4. The Great Outdoors -- you can't choose your family!

  5. Grace is Gone -- John Cusack must continue on after the death of his wife.
